General terms and conditions

This page is a courtesy summary, not the contract.

The Atlas Academy general terms exist in French and Dutch, and only those two texts are binding. Where this summary and the binding text differ, the binding text prevails. Read it before you book:

Conditions générales (FR) Algemene voorwaarden (NL)

Below, in English, are the points that actually decide a booking. Each one names the article of the binding text that governs it. Last update: 2026-05-11.

Art. 2

Booking and confirmation

A booking is recorded when you send the form and receive the confirmation e-mail. Your place is HELD, not yet confirmed: it becomes definitive only once the payment reaches us.

Art. 4

Payment

By bank transfer, within 10 days of booking. Atlas Academy does not take card payments. With the KMO-portefeuille you transfer the VAT to us directly and the rest goes through your portfolio ; the subsidy applies only to the amount excluding VAT.

Art. 5

Schedule and organisation

Courses are taught in French or in Dutch, on site, in evening series (6–10 pm) or full daytime weeks. Atlas Academy may reschedule a session when too few participants are registered; you are told as early as possible and may choose another date or a refund.

Art. 2 & 6

Cancellation and replacement

Sending a colleague in your place is always possible, at no cost, up to the first class. Cancellation follows the notice periods and fees set out in the general terms ; read the binding version before you book.

Art. 6

Exams and certificates

The certificate is issued by the certifying body (RESCert, CERGA), not by Atlas Academy, and in the language of the course. That body sets the identity data required ; which is why the booking form asks for each participant’s date of birth and national register number.

Art. 9

Personal data

Participants’ data is passed to the certifying body when the course requires it, and kept for as long as that body imposes. It is not resold and not used for anything else.

Art. 12 & 13

Complaints and disputes

Complaints go to the Academy office first (academy@atlascontrole.be, 02 726 64 04). Belgian law applies; the binding text is the French or Dutch version of these terms.

A question about any of this? The Academy office answers within one working day: academy@atlascontrole.be or 02 726 64 04.
