Yes, for the sale of a home whose installation dates from before 1 October 1981 and never underwent a full conformity examination, including on resale (RGIE, Book 1, 8.4.2). It is also required for meter activation, periodic inspections (every 25 years for residential) and, in Brussels and Wallonia, for short-term rentals (report less than 2 years old).
For a house or an individual apartment, the electrical inspection costs € 165 VAT included. For an office or a shop, expect € 250 VAT included. Our quotes are all-inclusive (no hidden travel fees).
