Gas sales inspection
Mandatory before sale in Wallonia + Brussels if the installation is > 5 years old. Atlas is CERGA-GAS accredited.
PEB boiler acceptance
Required when a new boiler is installed (useful when selling a recently renovated property).
EV charging station inspection
To be requested if the property is equipped with a charger — otherwise the notary may be held liable for failure to inform the buyer.

Notary questions
Can the deed be signed if the report is non-compliant?
Yes — the non-conformity must be disclosed to the buyer and annexed to the deed. The buyer then has 18 months from the deed to bring the installation up to standard (RGIE 2026, RD 06/10/2025). Atlas provides you with an explicit report listing items to correct, making buyer disclosure easier.
What exactly is the turnaround commitment for an urgent signing?
For Atlas Pro offices: appointment within 48h for the electrical inspection, report handed over the same day on site for residential installations (24-48h non-residential). For gas and EPC inspections: visit within 5 working days, report within 48h after the visit.
Is the Atlas report legally binding?
Yes. Atlas Contrôle is BELAC-accredited (INSP-EI number referenced on belac.be) for RGIE / CERGA / PEB inspections. Our reports carry the electronic signature of the accredited inspector and are binding before Belgian courts on the same footing as any other report from an accredited body.
How does payment work? Advance to the office account or office invoicing?
Two options: (1) direct invoicing to the seller (classic mode, to be settled before signing the deed), or (2) payment by advance on the office account with settlement at signing. The second option simplifies tracking for high-volume offices.
Can Atlas handle Flemish properties for our Brussels office?
Yes. Our Vilvoorde and Ghent offices cover all of Flanders. Reports available in native NL, compliant with Flemish requirements (EPB type A for the EPC in particular). Our commercial team and inspectors are bilingual.
