The EPC certificate (Energy Performance of Buildings, « PEB » in French) is mandatory for any sale or letting of a property in Belgium, and must appear in every advertisement you publish (Immoweb, agency window, portals). It tells the buyer or tenant the energy consumption level of the property, on a scale from A to G.
Atlas Contrôle is an accredited EPC certifier in the Brussels Region and in Wallonia. Our method is built to produce a fair rating that does not hold up your sale: we document every piece of equipment carefully (insulation, boiler, glazing) and apply the correction factors in your favour, exactly as the regional protocols allow.

Property sale
Mandatory from the moment the property goes on the market. The certificate has to appear in every advertisement and be handed to the buyer when the preliminary contract is signed.
Letting
Mandatory for any long-term let. The energy label has to appear in the advertisement, and the certificate goes to the tenant with the lease.
Property advertisements
The EPC label must be displayed in all advertising — Immoweb, Logic-Immo, agency listings, shop window. Omitting it carries financial penalties.
New build
Every new building needs an EPC certificate at handover. We handle the EPC declaration and follow it through with your architect.
